Disclaimer, terms, and risk disclosure
Last updated 2026-05-04. Read carefully before connecting a wallet or executing transactions.
1. Independent project notice
TempoPay (this website at tempopay.pro, including all subdomains and associated repositories) is an independent, community-built interface that interacts with public, immutable smart contracts deployed on the Tempo blockchain (chain id 4217).
TempoPay is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, partnered with, owned by, or otherwise connected to Tempo, the Tempo Foundation, the Tempo development team, Stripe, or any other entity that owns or operates the Tempo blockchain.
The names, logos, trademarks, and trade dress associated with “Tempo” are the property of their respective owners. Their use within this site is purely descriptive: identifying the public blockchain on which the smart contracts run. No claim of ownership, endorsement, or commercial association is asserted or implied.
The name “TempoPay” refers to the independent open-source project at this domain. If you are looking for an official Tempo product, please visit the official Tempo website. This is not it.
2. Terms of use
By connecting a wallet to this website or executing any transaction through the smart contracts referenced here, you acknowledge that:
- The website is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- The smart contracts (Treasury, TempoPayRouter, and any related contracts) are immutable and unaudited. There is no admin key, no upgrade path, no recourse mechanism. Once a transaction is on-chain, it cannot be reversed by us or anyone else.
- You are the sole custodianof your wallet's private keys and recovery phrase. We never see, store, or have access to them. Loss of keys means permanent loss of funds.
- No financial, investment, tax, or legal advice is offered or implied by anything on this site. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any transaction for your circumstances and for compliance with the laws and regulations of your jurisdiction.
- We accept no liability for losses, damages, taxes, fines, or other consequences arising from your use of this site, the underlying contracts, the Tempo blockchain, third-party bridges, third-party wallets, or third-party fiat on-ramps.
- We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of this website at any time without notice. The smart contracts themselves remain on-chain regardless of website availability and may be interacted with directly by anyone.
3. Risk disclosure
Cryptocurrencies and on-chain protocols carry significant risk. Specific risks relevant here include but are not limited to:
- Smart contract risk: bugs in the contracts could result in stuck or lost funds. The contracts have not been independently audited.
- Bridge risk: cross-chain bridges (Relay or any other) are operated by third parties. Bridge failures, exploits, or operator insolvency could result in loss of bridged assets.
- Stablecoin risk: pathUSD, USDC, USDC.e and other stablecoins are issued by third parties and may de-peg, be frozen, censored, or fail. We make no claims about their stability.
- Network risk: the Tempo blockchain may halt, fork, lose finality, or otherwise misbehave. Validators are operated by third parties.
- Phishing and impersonation risk: bookmark this site at tempopay.pro and verify the URL on every visit. Never enter your seed phrase. Never approve unknown contracts.
- Regulatory risk: cryptocurrency regulation is evolving. Activities legal today may become restricted; you are responsible for compliance with the laws of your country and tax residence.
4. Privacy
We do not collect, store, or process personal information in our own systems. Specifically:
- No accounts, no email, no KYC. Connecting a wallet does not create an account on our side.
- No backend database. Activity history and in-flight intents are stored in your browser's local storage only and are not transmitted to us.
- RPC calls for reading on-chain state are routed to public RPC endpoints (e.g. rpc.tempo.xyz). These third-party endpoints may log IP addresses and request metadata according to their own privacy policies.
- Wallet connector providers (MetaMask, WalletConnect, and any other wallet you choose) operate their own infrastructure and have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them.
- Hosting: this site is served via Vercel's edge network, which collects standard web server logs (IP, user agent, request path) for operational purposes.
- Privacy-preserving analytics via Vercel Analytics: aggregate, anonymous page view counts and Core Web Vitals. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no advertising IDs, no cross-site tracking. Per Vercel's policy, analytics events do not contain personal information and are not used for retargeting. See vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.
5. Trademarks, names, branding
If you are a rights holder for any name, logo, or trademark referenced on this site and believe it is being used in a manner that infringes your rights, please reach out and we will take appropriate action, including renaming or removing the reference. Our intent is to build something useful for users of the underlying public blockchain, not to imply any official association.
6. Open source
The frontend code and smart contracts are or will be published under permissive open-source licenses. Anyone may fork, audit, or self-host the interface. The smart contracts are public and reachable on any Tempo RPC endpoint without using this website.
